Week 75  March 23rd 202M
The next few weekly emails will for sure be different because we aren't doing much outside of the apt due to the quarantine. A few things that did happen, I finished the Book of Mormon on Sunday, it was an awesome experience to finish it for the 4th time on my Mission! We had a few video calls with the whole Mission aka Mission Conference. It was to help motivate us and continue to work hard. We also had a mission video call for sacrament meeting and a fireside. Those were both pretty cool! We went up to see the Central Falls Elders to help with videos for a "Scripture Madness" tournament.  Check out my Facebook to see what they are. We also stayed the night at the YSA Elders apt because the Central Falls apt had no beds. We then played a game of Risk with them, I lost but it was still pretty fun! We said some good byes to a few members as well. Finally for this week we got transfer Texts. Turns out both Elder Johnson and I will be leaving and the Narragansett Elders will be covering two areas now Newport and Narragansett. I will be "White Washing" Methuen/Billerica Massachusetts!

                         John 6

"66 ¶ From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God"

As followers of Christ we truly are Disciples of him! I love this passage where Jesus is talking to his apostles asking them will they leave him? Many things were happening at this time and people unfortunately lost faith, so followers of Christ fell away. In a similar sense scary things truly are happening at this time. As many of you know there is COVID-19 a global pandemic going on right now, also if you are in Salt Lake Valley area, you've experienced a decent size earthquake. At times like these people do loose faith in Christ because "why would He let this happen to us". As the passage goes on after Christ asked the apostles of they were going to leave him, they respond with "To whom shall we go". I love that as we loose faith I ask that same thing "To whom shall we go". It is only through Christ that we can be saved and return to live with our Father in Heaven for all Eternity. Only through Christ can WE have Eternal Life. Let us have faith in The Son the Living God, our Savior Jesus Christ. I am so glad I am able to be a missionary at this time. I know that I am called to where I am needed to help all of those around me, and to be able to use my Talents to help others come closer to Christ in their own lives. Lots of love to all of my friends and family, God bless, and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

  Week 74 March 16th 2020
Monday after I woke up I called and talked to the family for a little bit. We then had a maintenance guy come in but we asked him to come back.  He will be mudding today, sanding tomorrow and Wednesday the Painters will be coming in. We then went out to shop for the week and then came home. Shortly after we picked up some golf clubs from Brother Sykes. We then met the rest of the District at "Newport Indoor Golf" we played for about an hour and a half and we had lots of fun. We them went out to Chipotle for lunch then hit the Chapel for the remainder of the day. While we were there we all played a few games of chair soccer, SCUM (card game), and played a game of Basketball 2x2 with the Narragansett Elders. We then came home changed and then for the remainder of the night the Sisters and us Blitzed (both did missionary work in an area) a couple streets here in Newport. It went really well!
Tuesday was pretty good. We got ready for the day and made our way to the Chapel for WiFi. I met with my doctor and all is well! We then made our way over to the Salvation Army for service. It was a pretty small load this week, and I fit everything into the freezer! We had chicken chop suey for lunch. After we finished we organized a lot of boxes. We separated items into piles. Afterwards we came home made a few calls and had studies. We then made our way to dinner with the Barnes and we had steak and potatoes, it was pretty good! Before we left I was able to get Quin to do an Elbow Bump, the two girls (Quin and Bradie) never give high fives or anything to anyone but their Mom and Dad. I am the first missionary to get them to high five/ elbow bump (because of the virus) me. Their parents could hardly believe it! Afterwards we made our way to the Chapel and had Book of Mormon class. This weeks class was pretty big, there were 9 of us! After class we met with Cheryl and talked about prayer. We then played a game of basketball with the youth. To end the night we had a lesson with Mike on Spiritual CPR (Church, Pray, Read the scriptures) It was a pretty fun day!
Wednesday after we woke up we were able to have studies, that was really good, I am starting to read the Book of Psalms in the Old Testament! For lunch we met with Brother Daily and he took us out to "Becky's BBQ" it was pretty fun! Today the Apartment had a painting crew come in and that's why we left early. After lunch had a lesson on the Book of Mormon with James. After his lesson we came home to check out the apt. Luckily it was all painted, and it looks so nice now, It is also so clean! We waited a little bit for the walls to finish drying, then put it all back to normal. We then made our way to Dinner with the Roneys. They had a non-member over so it was pretty cool! She and her husband will be moving here to Newport soon! After dinner we had a lesson with Cassio and his wife Kelly.  We had the Mendes family, and the Portuguese Elders were there to help us out. It went really well. We went over the Plan of Salvation and we will be meeting them next week! To end the night we had a good lesson with Dante on the Book if Mormon, we had some good lessons today!
Thursday was a pretty good day! Lots of crazy things happened. We had a good companion studies and then made our way to the Library to update area notes. Afterwards we hit CVS for a couple things, while we there we saw Brother Wood, he is a pretty cool guy! We then hit Wendy's then made our long drive up to Blackstone Massachusetts for a car inspection.  The drive was long so we listened to a good talk by John Bytheway on what we can learn from the war chapters of the Book of Mormon. When we got to the place for the cars safety inspection it literally took 20 minutes. We them drove to the Scituate Chapel, because we were going to do a Blitz on their area. We had 40 more minutes so we tried to find somewhere to eat but the Chapel is in the middle of nowhere. We ended up going to a grocery store and bought subs. We then made our way back to the Chapel and met with the Sisters, along with another companionship and a couple members to help out. We then got a call from the Zone Leaders talking to us about the upcoming Zone Conference. Unfortunately due to the Virus COVID-19, it will be just our District for the first hour then a video call from President the second hour. After the call finished we went with Bill, a member of the Scituate Ward, we drove down to West Warwick and did tracting for two hours.  We were able to give away 7 copies of the Book of Mormon! While on the way back to the Chapel, we got an email from the Church informing us that Church is canceled until further notice. It might be a couple months being this way. We then made our long drive home.
Friday morning after we got ready we made our way up to Narragansett and they then drove us up to the Warwick Chapel for District Council. It went really well, but we were asked by the mission to keep some distance from the other missionaries. We had a great training by sister Stratford on the Book of Mormon. After our District Council we all got an email from the mission informing us that we will all be getting $100 extra to buy two weeks worth of food in case we get quarantined into our apartments. We them went out to lunch at Wendy's then we made our way back to the Elders Apt. We decided to all just go to Walmart to go start to buy some food, when we got there, basically most of it was all gone. Luckily though, we did get food to start out. After we finished up we drove down to our Walmart for more food, plus I needed to pick up my medication. We then came home to change, then went straight to dinner with the Jaggi family. We had lots of fun with them, while we waited for Brother Jaggi to get home we were all outside because it was such a nice day! To end the night we were able to meet with Noel and Laura where we were able to talk about Temples and Eternal Marriage with them, they are doing really good! Both Noel and Laura are slowly drinking less coffee every day!
Saturday was pretty normal we did studies and went to the Library to update our area notes. Afterwards we went to Barnes and Nobel to do weekly planning. Right before we were about to end we got an email saying we are all going to be "quarantined"! At this point it is more of “Social Distancing” but basically we will be doing 90% of the work now from our apt! We quickly then went out to Walmart for some last minute things and then came home for the remainder of the night.
Sunday was for sure different not waking up and then going to Church. We were able to have studies and do Sacrament ourselves. Afterwards we did more studies, had lunch and then made our way to Brother Stableys house for board games with him and Brother Daily. We of course played the game pandemic! It is the perfect game for what’s going on in the world. We then played another game called stone age, and that was pretty fun as well! We then hit the apt and made a couple calls then drove to the Chapel for Wifi. There we are setting some things up to do Facebook posting in the coming days. Also we did a District Fireside so I used my Chromebook to help with the video call. We then went to our final appointment with the Evan's Family. We were able to share a message with them and talk to them a little more. They helped us out and gave us some 2 player games while we are stuck in the apt, for the most part. It truly is an interesting time to be a missionary!

                    Moroni 10:18

"18 And I would exhort you, my beloved brethren, that ye remember that every good gift cometh of Christ"

At times like these it maybe hard to see Gods hand in it. As we have read through the scriptures as people fall away and deny God scary things happen, we should remember that his hand is in all things, and just know that there are so many Good things that each of us have, this is because of God. Remember the good that he has done! I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

 Week 73   March 9th 2020
Monday was pretty fun, when I woke up I called the family. I was able to talk to my big bro Trever and that was pretty great! After I talked to them I officially got ready for the day then we went shopping for the week. When we got back we had lunch then went to the library to work on our emails. After the library we hit downtown and we went shopping. It was pretty fun and such a nice day outside! After shopping we hit the Chapel and balled up (Played Basket Ball). I also called the family again to talk to my sister and my niece, we had lots of fun! To end the night we met with Byron a less active member. It was super cool because he has a desire to come to Church and learn more, so we are going to start meeting with him weekly! After him we tried to visit with Lloyd but he had something come up, so we said a prayer with him before we left!
Tuesday-After I woke up, I read from the Book of Mormon for a little bit and then worked out. After I got ready, we made our way to the Salvation Army for our service. We got there right after the truck so we were able to help bring everything in. This week there wasn’t too much frozen items so we were able to fit it all into the freezers! We had some fun talking to the other volunteers while eating lunch. After we finished up our service we had to go to UPS to send a package out. It was supposed to go to my parents but my address was put in. It was such a nice day! After that we came home for studies and I continued to read from the Book of Mormon. We then made our way to the library to reach out to a few people with interest.  Later on we came home for dinner and relaxed for a little bit. We then made our way to try to meet with a less active member, and It was pouring outside! We weren't able to meet with him so we made our way to the Chapel for our Book of Mormon class. It was the smallest class yet, but next week should be better. We studied 2 Nephi 31-33 (the Doctrine of Christ) it was super awesome! After the class, we met with Cheryl and talked about temples. We invited her to pray about a date for baptism! After the lesson with her we played some ball with the young men and had lots of fun with them. To end the night we met with Mike and went over all of the commandments (Word of Wisdom, Law of Chastity, and the 10 Commandments) it went pretty well, and we invited him as well to pray about a date for baptism! Newport is on the rise, and I am loving this area!
Wednesday morning when I woke up I was able to work out and officially get ready for the day. After we both were ready, we made our way to East Greenwich to meet our Zone Leaders to start our exchange. I went with Elder Plaster Up to Central Falls Rhode Island in the Portuguese Program for the day. We went straight to a lesson with a recent covert and we talked about the importance of keeping the Word of Wisdom and the blessings that can come from it! After the lesson we made our way back to the apartment to have some lunch, Elder Plaster made us a Brazilian meal because he is from Rio de Janeiro Brazil. After we had lunch we made our way to the go visit some friends taught in the past and we ended up teaching them about the Restoration. It was pretty cool because he had previously seen the restoration video with Joseph Smith, and he really liked It! After our lesson with him we went and did a few more stop byes Up until dinner, and we went to a Salvadoran Restaurant and a had paloosas, they are pretty good! A few appointments canceled so we end up going to a park to call people and set up appointments for the coming week. After a little bit, we got pretty cold so we made our way to the Chapel. While at the Chapel we talked to some people on the phone and set more appointments for the coming week. For the last hour of the night we made our way and did a few stop byes of people taught in the past and ended up talking to a really cool family. We were not able to have an official lesson with them because there was no male present, but we were able to get to know them better, and build a relationship.  We then made our way back to the apartment for the remainder of the night.
Thursday morning Elder Plaster and I had a good workout session. They have an apartment that is pretty open, so it was fun and easy to jump rope for a little bit. After I was officially ready for the day I had to finish up packing and then we made our way back to East Greenwich to Exchange back. On the way there we were able to do exchange inventory. Basically exchange inventory is a discussion about what we liked, what we learned, and an invitation to improve. Elder Plaster said that I am a great example of Christ like love to others, that really made me feel happy and gave me confirmation I was doing the right things! After we exchanged back Elder Johnson and I came back to our apartment so I can unpack and get ready for the rest of the day. We then made our way to the Library to meet with Peter Card. We were able to have a lesson with him. While in the entrance of the Library Peter Card was talking to a person and he ended up giving him a Book of Mormon and inviting him to the Church on Sunday for our Sunday Service, it was pretty cool to see this happen! After the message he took us out to lunch at the Blue Plate Diner and we all got Burgers. They were pretty Dang good. After lunch we came home to have studies and I was able to read the Book of Mormon. I am starting to read the new Funeral Handbook of the Church. There are so many great insights in it that will help me to be a better servant of Christ not only on mission but after the mission as well! I ended up passing out on the couch for little bit and when I woke up we made our way to the Library to do some Facebook finding, unfortunately we didn't have much luck. After the Library we made our way over to the Chidester family for dinner. We had a Beef Pot Pie homemade from Sister Chidester. We always have lots of fun over there. Today I ended up racing both Cohen and Cara. During the race with Cara on the way back apparently Cohen was told to stop me, well try to. I thought he was going to get out of the way but I ended up shoving him and he fell down. I truly feel so bad for him! They were all pretty cool about it and was a very fun experience for us all to laugh at. Afterwards we made a couple stop byes to people Missionaries have talked with in the past, but unfortunately they were not there and one had moved. While driving down town we saw our new member John walking down the streets of Newport and we waved as we passed by him while driving. It must a been divine intervention because we were able to have come to our lesson with Dante a 8 o'clock. The lesson with Dante went really well, and it was awesome to have a member present as well. We talked about the 10 commandments, the Law of Chastity along with keeping the Sabbath Day Holy. To end the lesson we were able show both of them the Baptismal Font and what it looks like. After they went their separate ways, we went home for the remainder of the night.
Friday was pretty stressful for me and it’s was due to a lot of stuff just continuing to build up. Well after both if us were ready, we got a call from President Mavromaitis asking if he could join our District Council today by video call, of course we gladly said yes. We then made our way to pick up the Narragansett Elders and drove to the Warwick Chapel. We then set up and called President so he could join us. We had a great training from Elder Porter on leaving invitations/commitments and then following up with them. President had some great insights that helped us all out. He wants to help us understand that they aren't lessons with members they are Missionary trainings. We want to get members and missionaries to work well together! After District Council we went out to Wendy's for some lunch. We then made our way back and dropped off the Elders then came home to change. We were able to have a lesson with a Bible referral from December! It went somewhat well, there was a language barrier because he is from Haiti. We went over parts of all three lessons, and it was hard because he only wanted evidence from the Bible, but with the scriptures we gave, he didn’t fully agree with. We then bore powerful testimonies of the Book of Mormon and invited him to read it. We hope to hear from him soon. We had to push back dinner until after FHE on the Navy Base but we relaxed for a little until we left to FHE. It was really fun and there were around 140 people there!!! It was so big, it did end earlier then usual and we got it all cleaned up by 8 o'clock. After that we made our way to see Brother Mottrom for dinner. He had made us Meatloaf. It was pretty good and it was pretty big! He sent us home with some leftovers. Anyway, I know I said at the beginning I was stressed, but I won’t say why I was so stressed out because it truly doesn't matter. What I will say it was a build up of a lot of things and it got to me.
Saturday was much better, I've had the time to ponder, pray and ask for peace in my heart. I was dealing with a lot so I just slept in a little longer than usual but it was much needed. After we woke up, I got ready and then we did personal studies. I was reading in the Book of Mormon, and read about the story on the 2000 stripling warriors. That is always so fun to read. We then had comp studies and then lunch. Afterward we dropped off our laundry at Brother Stabley’s, then hit the Library to do weekly planning. Luckily we got the nice study room so we could be a little louder than a whisper. After we finished up we drove to Tiverton to meet with the Mcormick’s for our monthly message. It went really well and after we followed up with the family mission plan where we watched another video to prepare for Easter Sunday! After the message we went into their backyard and saw three little campsites they are making, it's pretty cool! We then helped them set up a couple if nightstands they had. We then came home and cleaned out the car a little bit and disinfected it as well. We then made our way to give see John, our new member and had dinner with him, he made us spaghetti.  We were able to help push the couch into the room he wanted it in. He took the legs off so that helped it get through the doorway, but it barely squoze through. Afterwards we went to see Noel and Luara, but sadly they weren't home. We listened to a talk but they never came. We then reached out to a few people to remind them about church and daylight savings. All in all it was a good day. Before the night ended we got a mission text letting us know we have to do elbow bumps, everything else is banned.  We gotta stay safe from the Virus going around.
Sunday went pretty well, despite the time change we still got good rest. After I woke up and got ready for the day, we made our way to the Chapel for Ward Coordination. It went really well, and we had everyone in attendance. Afterwards we greeting everyone with elbow bumps as they came in. The Roneys gave talks today, both were pretty good. One was on the truths of the Book of Mormon while the other was on the Power of the Holy Ghost. We had three friends there today, Mike, Cheryl, and Dante! In Elders quorum we went over the talk "The Second Great Commandment" by President Nelson. Afterward we were able to give one of the Navy guys a blessing of comfort. We then came home for most of the day. When we first got to the apt we had studies and then had to push everything to the middle of the room. This coming week the Landlord will be sanding and painting the whole apt, I sure am excited for it. We then made our way to dinner with the Hancocks, it's always a blast with them. After dinner we made a few calls concerning a friend we are teaching but all is well! To end the night we had a lesson with the Jones family and inviting our friends to come and hear on Easter Sunday!

                   Mosiah 2:17
"17 And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God"

I love this a lot, because as missionaries we are always looking for opportunities to help others out and be of that service. Showing Christ like love and helping others is one of the best ways to be in the service of your God! I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week 72   3-2-20

Monday went pretty well, after I woke up I called home and talked to my mom, dad and little sister Kaylee. She's basically the reason I call in the morning! After the phone call I then got ready for the day. After I was all ready we made our way to Walmart to shop for the week and when we got there I realized I didn’t have my wallet so we had to go back home then back to Walmart. After good ol shopping we came back home for lunch and then hit the Library. While there I was working on a design for a Zone T-shirt. There are a few of us doing it so we will vote later this week. I was just messing around with ideas. After that we wanted to go to the aquarium but sadly it’s closed weekdays. We then went to the Chapel for the remainder of the day. When we got there I did the finishing touches on the T-shirt, It looks nice! I played some basketball, and did some Sudoko from my little book. Most importantly called and talked to my best friend (my mom). I love that I am able to call her weekly, she truly is a blessing in my life! Not to say the rest of my family isn’t a blessing because they are! My mom is typically the only one free for me to call every week lol. After our p-day ended we hit a Taco Bell on the way home. We then changed quickly ate then went over to see Jackie and Seana. We shared the video "Expressions of Love" they seemed to really like it! While there Seana and I had a joke battle. After the message with them, we then went over to see the Kings. We got to know them more and they both served Russian speaking missions! Brother King even is reading Harry Potter in Russian! The Newport Ward is such an amazing place to serve!
Tuesday was a pretty long day! After got up and ready, we made our way to the Salvation Army for service. Today the truck was also 30 minutes late, so we didn’t do much until it got there. We then unpacked it and we were then putting everything into the freezers. I organized it before we put anything in so we then had so much more room! I was able to fit everything in! After we finished putting everything in, we had lunch with all the volunteers. We had some ribs, and it was sooo good! After lunch we came home and we then cleaned out the car. A little bit later a senior couple (The Jenkins) came and did a car and apartment inspection. They were amazed at how well this apt looks now, it used to be much, much, worse! They let us know about a few things we need to get fixed but other than that it went really well! We then called the mission office about a few things and then went to the leasing office for the rest of it. Someone came over 30ish minutes later and looked around on what needed to be done. The person who came took pictures and then said they would be back tomorrow to fix it all up. After he left so did we because it is "National Pancake day" we went to IHOP with Brother Stanley for dinner. It was pretty packed but we had fun! After lunch we made a few calls and then had our Book of Mormon class for the week. Sadly it was a smaller group but we still had fun and learned lots from all the wonderful insights, We read from 2 Nephi 25-30. After class we had lots of fun and played some basketball with the youth. It's always good to build relationships with all members! After we finished up we then came home for the night.
Wednesday morning after we got ready, we made our way to the meet up spot to start exchanges. I then "Cubed" Elder Stokes.(cubing is just a funny way to predict someone's future). After that Elder Porter and I came back to Newport for the exchange and Elder Johnson went with Elder Stokes in Narragansett.  When we got back to the apt, we started to do studies, and I read of the story on Korihor the Anti-Christ. He kept preaching that Christ doesn’t exist but when we asked Ammon how does he believe in Christ, Ammon says "save it be my testimony alone" and I love that so much! In days like these we have to have a testimony to stay strong in the Gospel! We then had a pretty good companion studies as well! After our studies we then had lunch and left the apt for the day. Our first stop was to stop by a less active member, who we have never met. When we got to the apt we had two choices apt A or apt B and we didn’t know what one it was. With that being said we thought about it and pressed the doorbell for apt B. It wasn’t who we were looking for but we met Cassio. He is from Brasil! He us super cool and has a strong faith in Christ and wants his family to come closer with Christ at the center. I was at least able to introduce ourselves in Portuguese but then we needed to use translate. He let us right in for a message! It was such an awesome experience.  We were able to call the Zone Leaders (Portuguese speakers) to help us out. We went over the Restoration lesson, and he said he wants to come to Church and read the "El livro de Mórmon". Luckily we had one to give to him in Portuguese! We plan on meeting him next week! After him we then went downtown to street contact and the cliff walk as well. Sadly no one we talked to were interested but we are trying! While on the cliff walk we saw the "Salve Regina University " sign. So I had to get a picture. Now I have one in front of Yale and Salve Regina! After a little we met with Brother Daily to give him some keys to the locker that had all the games on the Navy Base for FHE. After we went to the Chapel and updated a couple things and watched a couple videos in preparation for our lessons tonight. We then made our way to dinner with Brother Incze. We had Salmon salad, (tuna salad with Salmon instead). It was pretty good! The salmon was from the coast on Ireland. With him we shared the video of "Expressions of Love" and talked about how has seen Gods Love in his life. After our meal with him we made our way to see Emilce and Marivel. Sadly when we got there Marivel was already sleeping, but we were able to catch up with Emilce and asked how we could help her and the family out. Before we left we watch a Book of Mormon Video (1 Nephi 17-18). It’s about Nephi acting on faith and building the boat to cross the waters to the Promised Land. To end the night we went to Barnes and Nobel for wifi and we reached out to a few people then we came home for the night. When we got home the Zone Leaders called us expecting to Talk to Elder Johnson but he is on exchanges so they talked to me for a minute. They complimented my Portuguese and said I am very well at pronouncing the words! All in all it was a good day!
Thursday, after both of us got ready we did exchange inventory.  Basically what that means is we talk about the exchange from what we liked and what we learned and leave a commitment for each other. Shortly after we left to meet up with the other Elders to exchange back. When we were all together we tried some jerky I bought at an exotic Jerkey place in downtown Newport. So we ate Kangaroo jerky it is definitely different than I thought it would be but still good. After that Elder Johnson and I then made out way back to the apt for studies. I was listening to three awesome talks that really helped me and my understanding of various topics
1) the Priesthood 2) the Lords Mercy and Just, and 3) enjoying the life I have. After personal studies we then did comp studies and had lunch. After lunch we hit the Library and made a post for our Book of Mormon page. Afterwards we then hit up Barnes and Nobel and we had weekly planning. Shortly after weekly planning we went to Dinner with the Chidesters, and had some Enchiladas and Rice Pudding. It was pretty dang good, and we had lots of fun! For our message we talked about how easily the world does things to make wrong things seem right and with the Holy ghost we can over come confusion. Afterwards we made our way to Newport Creamery to meet a less active member who we have never met before. She is currently going to Salve Regina University. While at Newport Creamery we got to know her more and had some Icecream. She has a desire to come to Church but has no ride, we can easily help her out. We are hoping to see her more often now! After meeting her we went to the Chapel and met up with Dante for a lesson on tithes and fasting along with obeying the Law. It all made sense to him and he is willing to do these things! It was a pretty good day once again!
Friday, Morning after we got ready we made our way to the Church to pick up the snacks for FHE on the Navy Base, Brother Daily left them there for us to pick up. After that we made our way up to Narragansett to meet the Elders. Today they drove up to the Warwick Chapel for District Council. The Sisters barely beat us there! Once again we had the training in the High Council Room, because they have nice chairs to sit on. The training was on "extending a baptismal date", and it was by Sister Duecett, It went pretty well! Afterwards there was a video call meeting for all District Leaders and their companions so that took another hour and a half, by the end Elders Johnson,  the Narragansett Elders and I were all pretty hungry. We then went to Wendy's for "Linner". When we got back into our area we had an appointment with a less active but sadly he had to cancel because he got called into work. We were able to reschedule for Monday night! After that, we got a text from the Elders saying their complex was on fire! They had lots of police and Fire Trucks there to help put it out. Luckily from what I heard all is okay and no one got hurt, because it was on the opposite side of the building from where the Elders are, nothing happened to their apt. After that we went and we picked up our suits from the dry cleaners, they look so nice! After that we came home and relaxed up until we left for FHE in the Navy Base. With Brother Daily being sick we were put in charge, and today was pretty big we had over 100 Sailors there! After FHE ended we went to the Chapel and we watched a world wide mission triangle by Elder Uchtdorf and another General Authority -Elder Nelson (not President Nelson). It was pretty good!
Saturday was a pretty good day, Elder Johnson woke me up and I then got ready.  We made our way to the Church to work out and shoot some hoops, it was pretty fun! When we got back to the apt, we had personal and companion studies. After lunch we made our way up to Bristol/Warren, it's the further north parts of our area. While there we reached out to a few less actives and a couple of referrals. We mainly were with a less active member Brother Stevens. He has such a strong testimony, and has had many wonderful experiences where he knows the Church to be true. Sadly his health isn’t the best so he hasn't been in a while, we were able to help him with putting soil and plants into a ceramic pot he had, it helped him out a lot, and he was very appreciative! After him we had dinner at McDonald's then did a few more stop byes. Afterwards we made our way to the Chapel to do a few things then we came home for the night.
Sunday morning after we woke up and got ready we made our way to Church for coordination. Unfortunately it did need to get canceled because our Ward Mission Leader was at home recovering from surgery. We didn’t have anyone from Relief Society and Brother Jones had a family emergency.  So with it being canceled we helped set up Sacrament and greeting people as they came into Church. Today we had four friends at Church! That is so good for us, The last time we had four was the Christmas service. We typically only have two friends at church. It was Fast and Testimony Meeting and we heard some great testimonies! In Sunday School we went over some of the Isaiah Chapters in 2 Nephi.  After Church we took some pictures for the Gallaghers because they just had a baby, and they wanted the whole family. After that we came home for studies, and I read a few YA weekly articles then passed out on the couch. When I woke up we ended up helping out a new member move in. He was expecting to be here yesterday but stuff happened. Even though it was Sunday, it was much needed! It was Bishop, Brother Jones and us, along with him and his Father. They were truly grateful for us helping out. After that we went to dinner with the Hammocks and had some delicious Angus Burgers! After dinner we had a few lessons for the night. The First was with James and we watched a short video on "The Good Samaritan ". With Brother Mottrom we talked about blessings.  Patriarchal, Blessings of healing and Blessings of Comfort.  It was pretty cool. We them helped out our blind member Rose move something in her kitchen.

"7 ¶ Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways"

In a world where we are continuing to stray further and further from God. Let us Consider "OUR WAYS" let us be better and do better so that we can continue to grow closer to Christ each and every day! I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
