Sad to leave Methuen, but excited for my new opportunities and area.

Week 89  June 22-2020
Monday morning after we got ready we made our way to ALDI to go shipping. When we got back home we had our last virtual District P-day. We played a short game of “Never Have I Ever”, most of it was just talking and saying goodbye. We then called home and talked to our families, shortly after we went to Salem NH and checked out  "American Stonehenge". These are 4,000 year old structures, well what's left of it. It was pretty cool to check it all out and to see how they used stars to navigate and place everything where it is on the way home we hit up Walmart for a few things and then came home. We relaxed, called home again and had dinner dropped off. To end the night we had a lesson planned but no one answered, so we reached out to a few more people.
Tuesday went pretty well, we got up and ready and then I packed up my study supplies. We then went to Walmart so I could get packing tape and then dropped off my two packages at the Post Office to be sent home. When we got back we had lunch and then had a Mission Devotional. Throughout the day we messaged people and said my goodbyes. We ended up having two meals because an older member didn’t know how to use our online dinner calendar. Luckily it was able to be put in the freezer and saved for later. We went to the Church to film a couple of videos and take some pictures at the Chapel. When we got home, we had dinner dropped off from another member, and it was shrimp and potatoes, It was soooo good! To end the night we messaged a few people and had my final Gospel Principle call with Methuen! It sure was sad to say my goodbyes but I know I am needed in Norwich/Ashford.
Wednesday was a pretty long day full of driving. When I woke up I finished up packing my bedding and bathroom supplies. We then packed up the car and then made our way down to the Weston Chapel. On the way down we stopped by to see the Billerica Chapel so I could get pictures in front of it. It is a pretty nice Chapel! We then hit a Wendy's for breakfast and then we said some goodbyes to a few missionaries that were going home while we waited for our new comps. We unloaded my luggage and packed it into the new car and we then officially made our way down to Norwich.  It was another 2 hour drive, but I really enjoyed the drive it is so pretty out here in New England! When we got home I unpacked and settled in, and took a short break to relax and had lunch. The rest of the day was slower and we did some contacting. After dinner we had lesson with Johnx he is a recent convert. We call him everyday to read the scriptures with him. We did more contacting for the rest of the night. After 9 we called two of the companionships in the District, I wanted to introduce myself and get to know the District more!
Thursday-Sunday really nothing to big, it is a slower area. We had a few meetings because I am the District leader, one with President, one with the Zone Leaders and one with the District. All of them were pretty much the same and were about what we want to implement this transfer to help the work grow! We also had an awesome devotional where we heard from a couple General Authority 70s and an Area 70! It was pretty cool. Sunday I gave a little talk in the Ashford Sacrament to introduce myself and share my testimony.  It was also really cool to talk to my Dad on Fathers Day! All In all this area will be a slower one but I know I am needed here! Sunday night I was able to do my first official call ins to see how each member of the District is doing.

                    Psalms 19:10

"10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb."

My whole life I grew up with honey from of my dads beehives. (He is a beekeeper), I have also had honeycomb, his honey is honestly the sweetest thing I have ever tasted! It truly is like gold as it takes a honeybees whole life to make a teaspoon of honey, That is so crazy! But even more sweeter than honey is Christ’s Gospel! I know that the Book of Mormon has the fullness of the Gospel and I promise you that your soul will delight in its sweetness if you take the time to read it! I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week 87-Transfers coming next week

Week  87    6-15-20
Monday, it was a pretty good day, right when we woke up and got ready we did put shopping for the week so we didn’t have to stress about it later on. When we got back from the store we had a District Activity over Facebook messenger, we really just talked and got to know each other better. Afterwards we both called home for a little bit and it was nice to talk to my family. Afterwards we went on a hike to Ward Reservation in Andover MA. It was really fun. At the top we were able to see the Boston Skyline! It was such a nice hike and a good work out. On the way home we stopped by market basket for some ice-cream. We then relaxed and called family again. After dinner we texted a lot of people who were taught in the past. One man responded with wrong number so we decided to ask him if he was interested. He then had us prove we were not robots. We then introduced ourselves on a more personal level. He then asked us what my purpose was. From his point of view he thinks he is talking to just me. I told him that I want to help others come closer to Christ and help them towards baptism. If they don't chose to be baptized that's okay. I simply want to do what I can to help others come closer to Christ. Because of what I said he was touched and it sparked his interest even more. We then were able to text him an uplifting message from the Book of Mormon. He really liked it and he said he would be okay with continuing to text him uplifting messages! At first he seemed standoffish and still is a little bit but by the end we got his name! Hopefully soon we will be able to meet over video call, It was a great night! After 9pm we got a call from our Zone Leaders, Elder Lee and Elder Rindlisbacher. They called to check in and see how we are doing. We then played a pattern game called "Black Magic" and don’t worry it's nothing bad it's fun to play with those who don’t know how to play!
Tuesday nothing to big happened, it was the typical morning. Get up and ready, have personal and comp studies and then lunch. Shortly after lunch we had a mission devotional given by the Lazenby's. They are members in the Boston area but are currently serving as Mission President and Wife down in Brazil, 3 of their missionaries have been reassigned to serve here! A little bit after we had exchanges with Lynnfield and this time I was with Elder C. Foster, he is a pretty cool guy and he came out with me. Afterwards we decided to have Chickfila for dinner and went to Walmart to buy some painting supplies, and some sculpy clay, it is pretty fun! When we got home we had a lesson but he said to call back in a couple of hours. When we did he didn’t answer, sadly because this has happened a few times before we made the decision to stop trying because we know there are others to focus on who are ready! Tonight's Gospel Principle class went really well, Angel came and had some great insights! To end the night we texted about 15 people who were taught in the past and two of them said they were interested! To end the night I started to write in my 4th journal on the mission!
Wednesday went pretty well the morning was rough because I was so tired, eventually I was able to get up and ready for the day. My studies went really well, and I was able to keep focus the whole time, and was able to catch up from a couple days I missed (I have a set schedule). During comp studies we did some painting for fun! Afterwards we had lunch and then reached out to grey dots (people taught in the past) and members. After a little bit we took a break and checked the mail. I got a package from my high school wrestling coach. I got "A Marvelous Work And A Wonder", "Mission Accomplished by Matt Brown" and "Drawing on the Powers of Heaven". Matt Brown was my Role Model as a senior. He is the First returned missionary to be an NCAA Champion in Wrestling, he wrestled for Penn State. When we got back it was time for our District work out, and we did a Taekwondo warm up, led by Elder Butler. After dinner we did a lot of contacting to members and grey dots again!
Thursday went pretty well! It was a regular morning with a good study session! After lunch we had a fun FHA activity where we were able to hear from James Curran (James the Mormon). It was cool to hear his story and how it shaped him to be who he is today. Afterwards we were able to call home for a little bit. We then had Sister Holmes dropped off dinner for us, it wasn't quite dinner time, so we put it in the fridge for the time being. We then called Wilson, a man who is interested in Bible studies. When we called he sounded pretty busy so we rescheduled. Shortly after we had a call with Brother Ortiz and it was good to catch up with him! After dinner we had a great half lesson with Angel where we went over the first 7 Articles of Faith. He then had to help his mom out and drive her around. We planned on finishing up tomorrow. We then had two good Gospel Principle classes one with each ward. To end the night I called home again I was able to talk to my brother Tyler who was visiting from Oregon, it was really fun to catch up with him!
Friday went pretty well! I had a really good study session and I officially finished the Book of Isaiah in the Old Testament! After studies we had District Council, it was the last one of the transfer, so we made guesses on who is staying and who is leaving, we are all pretty sure I will be leaving. The District Council discussion was on Christ like attributes. In Peach my Gospel Chapter 6 it has an activity where you can rate yourself on different aspects of different Christ like attributes. We then talked about and shared experiences from our mission on that subject. For the roleplay we did it on building members testimonies. After District Council we had lunch/ break time. Not too much later we had training on the ED app, basically a bunch of lessons/ trainings on how to better do missionary work in this time. Afterwards we had a good call with Brother Howard, not to soon after we had a great lesson with Angel.  We finished up the Articles of Faith and went over daily scripture studies. He was then able to download the Gospel Library app! After dinner we had three lessons, we did the family mission plan and shared a scripture. We met with the Fitisemanu's, Hecht's, and the Clemente family! We sure had a busy night!
Saturday went pretty well, but it felt like such a long day. Luckily we didn't have an admin training today. I had a pretty good personal study session and I started to read the Book of Jeremiah! Afterwards we then had a good companion study session and then lunch. After lunch we stayed pretty busy with weekly planning and working on the Methuen Progress report. We then took a little break and had a zoom lesson with Brother Howard. After Brother Howard we reached out to a few people taught in the past. After dinner we reached out to members suggested to us by the ward council and that went well! To end the night we had a great lesson with Betty about repentance and the pre-earth life, she had lots of awesome insights!
Sunday morning I woke up with a head ache and it stayed most of the day. After we got ready we ended up having a really good Ward Coordination with Methuen, we got lots of help and insights to help out the work! We then had a break and hopped into studies and I read D&C 124, it is such a long section! Afterwards we joined the Stapleton family in a Sunday service with Betty. We even had the chance to bare our testimonies! Afterwards we had lunch and a little bit more time for studies. Today we didn’t have a Sunday service with Angel but we invited him to join the Elders Quorum zoom call at 1:00 instead. We couldn't make it because we met with the Swansons and had a super spiritual and uplifting meeting about our own person purpose in life. Afterwards we had our Mission Sacrament Meeting and heard from a few members of the Stake Presidency in Springfield. I was so tired and sadly didn’t get much out of it, but I do remember the first talk was about "God is in the Details ". Afterwards I took about a 20 minute nap and when I woke up my headache was finally gone! We then called to Brother Howard and went to the Chapel to record another music video for Elder Foster. We are going to compile about five music numbers from different missionaries into a15 minute video for our page. We didn’t get back to the apt until about 5:45. We then had another awesome lesson with Joyce and Sister Malstrom afterwards we finally had dinner and I worked on my email. We then reached out to members including Brother Andersson about coordination and we got a lot of good insights! Well to end the night transfer texts came in and... I will be getting transferred to Norwich/Ashford Connecticut! I will also have the wonderful opportunity to be a District Leader and I am excited to learn!

                       Jeremiah 1:5

"5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations"

We truly did live with God before we came here to Earth! Just as He knew Jeremiah and the path he had as a prophet, he knows our path as well. It may have took time but as I go into the new transfer this coming week, I will have leadership for the first time. I know that I needed to learn and grow from these past 20 months so I can best fulfill this assignment! We all have our path to work on but it will come at the time to best help out the ones around us and ourselves! I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Week 86  7-8-20
Monday morning we got up and ready, we then went shopping. As we finished shopping we were about to leave, The Lawrence Spanish Elders pulled up right to us and we talked for a couple minutes. They mentioned this cool hike area they heard about in Salem called the "American Stonehenge" unfortunately you had to pay to get in. We might go back another day but we only had an hour left until our Zone Activity. On the way home we shopped at Walmart for a few more things. When we got home we hopped on the Zoom link with the Zone and played Mafia. The two games we played I was out the first round. Once as a mafia that got caught and then the mafia killed me. After the Zone activity we called home and talked to our families for a little bit. We then went to Dollar Tree for a couple of items and then on the way home picked up some Little Caesars, oh boy was it so delicious! To end the night we brought back the Allen's AC unit they let us borrow. It was such a nice drive! Sadly though earlier today our friend Jahely has asked to stop being taught for the time being, lots of things are going on in her life right now and she just needs a little break.
Tuesday went pretty well in the morning the Lawrence Elders called us asking if we had a blow up mattress because they will be in a trio for a day.  Luckily we did so they came over to pick it up. Afterwards we had studies and then shortly after lunch a Mission wide FHA. It was pretty fun, we heard a Senior Companionship bare their testimonies. We also learned from a few other missionaries about some talents. We learned how to draw a cartoon Nephi, how to Beat box and how to clog (dance). Afterwards we made our way down to Burlington (the bottom of Billerica) and we dropped of a Book of Mormon to a member.  It was nice to get out of the house for a while! On the way home we hit up a Wendy's and had dinner at home. After dinner we got ready for our zoom call (Gospel Principles) with Methuen, it ended up going really well! For the remainder of the night we had a lesson with the Rains (Billerica) they just got called to be Service Missionaries for the Stake. They're calling is to be missionary supporters. With a lot of new missionaries coming in and not enough cars they will be helping with transportation and attending District Councils with us. We are excited to get to know them even more!
Wednesday after I woke up I wished Elder Foster a Happy 21st Birthday! After we got ready for the day we had daily planning along with finished up the plans for the Facebook Group. We have two new companionships in the Zone so we remade the schedule. Afterwards we had personal studies. When we were about to start comp studies we got a message from the Lynn Elders about exchanges. We then made our way to the Chapel and had exchanges. I went with Elder Francom then Elder Martinez, they are both pretty cool missionaries! Afterwards we had a break (mandatory) I shot some hoops and Elder Foster played the piano. Before we came home we printed off the two ward directories so I can start writing down addresses of the members I meet. We then hit Marker Basket and bough Ben and Jerry's Icecream. We then went to Sal's Pizza to pick up dinner, Brother Van Zweeden bought for us! When we got back we ate dinner and I worked on the Progress report. After dinner we met with the Brea family to share a short message, they are a part member family I'm Methuen. To end the night we had a really good coordination with Billerica!
Thursday morning after we got ready for the day, we had a call from Brother Adam's. He has a big test coming up and wanted someone to pray with, it was fun to help him out! We then had studies, and I also was able to read Chapter two of Jesus the Christ, I had some awesome insights about the premortal existence! After personal studies we did some comp studies and then lunch. After lunch we had a mission wide training, it was mainly for trainers and all the new missionaries who have been reassigned. For some reason our phone hasn't been working for calls or even receiving calls it was hard to do some contacting. We tried to reach out to the office missions to see what to do but they couldn't call us. The Glines then came and dropped off dinner for us, we had some delicious Chicken Enchiladas with Corn on the Cob! We had to cook it, while it cooked we had a Mission Wide Devotional with Elder Bassett, he is part of the North East North American Area Presidency. He just answered a few questions from missionaries, his wife also talked about learning the language of the spirit. During dinner we reached out to the AP's to see if they can talk to the office missionaries about our Sim Card and getting it fixed. We made a plan to go to the Mission Office in the morning to check it out. Unfortunately Angel had to reschedule because he was with his mom. We then had two awesome back to back Gospel Principle lessons with both wards!
Friday morning we quickly got up and ready and by 8 we made our way to Natick Massachusetts aka we went to the Mission Office. When we got there our sim card let us call people but it wouldn't let us while at our apt. We waited around for Elder Wilkins to call tech support and try to get a new sim card for us. It was taking so long so we just took our original sim card and came home. Right after we got home we hopped onto zoom and had District Council, the Rains joined in as well. They have a new Stake Calling "Missionary Support Couple" and with that they wanted to get to know the District better. We gave a training on the gathering of Israel document and we had a roleplay about baring testimony of the Book of Mormon to help resolve concerns. After we then had lunch, afterwards we had a prerecorded mission devotional given by Elder and Sister Rasband, Elder Rasband is an Apostle of the Lord! The devotional was all about the new Restoration Proclamation! Afterwards we had exchanges with Lynnfield and Inqas with Elder Strokes. It was fun to catch up with him for a little bit, unfortunately he forgot his charger so his phone died near the end. Afterwards we took a short break and I ended up passing out, up until dinner time. When I woke up I made little smokeys (little hotdogs) for dinner. Afterwards we went to the Chapel to see of we could get service there to call people, and it worked! Between calling and texting people we played pictionary on the chalkboard, it was pretty fun!
Saturday ended up being a long day! After we woke up, worked out and got ready we did some daily planning and a short comp study to prepare for interviews today. We then did our own personal studies up until lunch. After lunch we had interviews and I went first, and it went really well! President was glad to see I am doing much better this week. He also mentioned that one of us is for sure leaving this transfer, it will most likely be me, but he is going to pray about it more! So we will see in my next email! Afterwards we took a little break and then did some more comp studies and then made the progress report for Methuen. It was super dark outside because a storm was rolling in. It felt so late, but it was only 3PM! We then went out to the little dock /Wetland on the complex property and filmed my daily message, right as I finished the thunder hit so we ran into the apt and it then started to pour! So I did what I would do if I was home, I went on the deck and I got drenched, it was so worth it! I then changed and got dry, we then did weekly planning. As we finished weekly planning we then made dinner and relaxed. After dinner we had a call from a man from London. He wanted to talk to us about the Book of Mormon, so obviously we got pretty excited! Then it started to go down hill from there, he just tries to make us doubt our faith and he brought up many things that has happened in the past in the Church. I am truly grateful that I know that this Church is 100% true, sometimes the people are not and members have made mistakes. For this reason I chose this scripture this week (seen below). We then reached out to members and people taught in the past, luckily our phone was working again! We did a zoom call with Brother Howard and he played some hymns on the guitar, he is pretty good! To end the night we had a good lesson with Sister Lim and Betty, we talked about the pre earth life and we helped answer some of her questions!
Sunday morning and it is Fast Sunday, basically just relaxed in bed for a little bit longer and then got ready for the day! We then did daily planning and right after had coordination with Methuen. Once again it went really well! After we then had personal studies for an hour, then had our Mission Wide Sacrament Meeting, with it being Fast Sunday we had a fast and testimony meeting. We heard from a few missionaries who are going home at the end of this transfer. Afterwards we had another good Sunday Service with Angel, the Chipmans, and the Aldrich's. Near the end Sister Carter joined us, because she came to visit the Aldrich's. We did another Fast and Testimony meeting, even Angel shared his testimony! His faith has grown so much since we first met, and he is almost ready for baptism! Shortly after we had a message with the Swanson's, today Zarah and Eli couldn't make it, but we were able to bare our testimonies for Brother Swanson. Afterword we had a call from Gail and we said a prayer with her, because with everything going on she is worried. We then had a quick call with the Sister Training Leader Trainers (basically Sister AP's) we talked about planning something for a mission devotional, they want to get David Archuleta to talk to our mission, and I just so happen to know his Voice Coach. After the call we then had a lesson with our friend Joyce! This is the first official lesson with her, we even had the Malstroms join us, and it went so well! She is such a sweet lady and has a desire to know the truth and come closer to our Savior Jesus Christ! We talked about the restoration with her and she really liked it. Later on we called a few members for messages and then had comp studies. For comp studies we started to memorize the 4th paragraph in the Restoration Proclaimation, 3 down 5 to go! We finally had dinner, Fast Sundays feel so slow! After dinner we did some Facebook finding and filmed my daily post. Elder Foster had a headache so he took a nap and I wrote up my email. To end the night we did some contacting and after 9 we called the other companionships to check in on them!

                        Alma 30:41

"41 But, behold, I have all things as a testimony that these things are true; and ye also have all things as a testimony unto you that they are true; and will ye deny them? Believest thou that these things are true"

Saturday a man from England called us asking about the Book of Mormon, it really quickly led to him bringing up "anti-mormon" material and he set in trying to make us doubt. We ended up finding his facebook and he has even been a protester at Temple square! It saddens me to see how far some people will go to lead others away from the truth. In this passage of Alma 30 there is a man named Korihor who did the same thing this man is doing to us and maybe many others. I am glad to know that my faith and my testimony are strong in the Gospel! I know that the Book of Mormon truly is the Word of God and so is the Bible! This is Christ’s Church on the Earth today and I can never deny that! I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Brother & Sister Allen loaned us a AC unit
Chrystal Shores Lake
Meeting the other District Leader
Mom likes this one!

Week 85  June 1 -2020

Monday, nothing all to special happened, I was able to call home and talk to my family, and today was moving day. We then went hiking at Crystal Shores again, because it is so beautiful! After that we went shopping and then came home for the day. I called and talked to my family again, When I get home in October I will be in a new home, and it will for sure be different! After I talked to my family, I called the Mission Office to inform them of the address change so they can put it in the system. To end the night we just made a lot of calls, we were expecting to have a lesson with a recent referral we got but sadly he didn’t pick up,  we will continue to try!
Tuesday not much has changed. Studies went really well one scripture in particular really stood out to me. (It can be found below) after lunch we had another devotional from President Beecroft, he talked about a couple experiences on his mission and how we never know who is ready to hear the  Gospel!  We continued to reach out to people and set up appointments. After dinner we then had our Gospel Principle lesson with Methuen and talked about "The Lords Covenant People"
Wednesday was pretty fun! We got ready and I listened to a talk on Personal Revelation through prayer for a "Prepare to Learn" for exchanges with the Zone Leaders. (Basically the PTL is what we will talk about on exchanges). After lunch we went to the Chapel to do a virtual exchanges and I was with Elder Rindlisbacher. He actually came to the Mission field the same time as me! After the Exchange we called the apt office because our AC hasn't worked all to well and it had gotten into the 80°+ and it is just too hot to handle. They said they will be working on it with in the week. When we got back to the apt, we had another fun District Workout. After dinner we made the progress report for Billerica and asked members of Methuen if they had an extra AC unit we could borrow for a few days. Luckily the Allen's helped us out and Brother Van Zweeden said we could come pick up a fan to use. We then had coordination with Billerica and then to end the night picked up the Fan and the AC unit was dropped off at our apt! It feels much better now!
Thursday was actually petty rough day for me. In the morning we had studies, it was a little hard for me to concentrate but I got through! We then had comp studies and lunch. Afterwards we had a Mission FHE and we learned a few dances and it was pretty fun. Afterwards it was time to call the family but my parents were busy so I took a quick nap. When I woke up I called them and I got a tour of our new home, and it looks pretty dang awesome! It was nice to talk to my Mom and Dad because the past few days have just been mentally draining, part of the reason is because of the AC in our apt not working. I feel the heat was getting to me and it all just became overwhelming.  I ended up just talking to my family for a while about what was going on. Afterwards I got a much needed blessing from my companion. With all of this I have done a lot of praying and reading trying to know what I should do, because I have had thoughts of going home early. I have the strongest prompting telling me that I am needed in the Mission Field right now, and I shouldn't go home early. After a little bit of time for me to calm down and rest we had dinner. Afterwards we had 4 lessons! The first was with Angel on the Restoration with a focus on the First Vision/Priesthood.  We then had our Gospel Principle class, one with each ward. To end the night we had a message with a member in Billerica and oh boy they talk forever! We asked 1 question and for 45 minutes we got two words in! It's okay though they have some awesome goals to share the Gospel!
Friday went well and pretty quick.  After we got ready and had studies, we then had District Council. Our training was given by the Lynnfield Elders and they talked about building members trust along with what makes sharing the Gospel fun! It was pretty good! Afterwards we had lunch and finished up companion studies. We then had another Facebook training and this one was with the mission and it was basically just a Q and A. Afterwards we called and did our virtual exchange with the Lawrence Elders. I was with Elder Gabbitas, it was a nice little break from everything going on! Right after we ended exchanges, we did a Zone call and made brownies! It was pretty fun and we got to know the other District better. After dinner we called the Bulloughs and had a short message with them, it was just Sister Bullough and her two sons who were back and forth. They ended up really liking the little magic trick I did! To end the night we called and shared a message with Sister Shawcross, unfortunately it was just a call and not a video call but it was still really awesome, because she is a returning member!
Saturday morning I started to read "Jesus the Christ" by James E. Talmage, it sure is a big book but I am excited to be uplifted with its words! Fun fact "Jesus the Christ" is the only book written in the Temple! At 10 we had a surprise FB training... this one was for just the Admins, we went over how we can be quicker at responses and reaching out to those who comment and message on the page. After we finished up comp studies and I called and talked to President, he just wanted to check in on me because I messaged him about the other day. After the call with him we reached out to a few people. We talked to Sister Stapleton asking if there was anything we can do to help Betty out. She recommends a few other Sisters in the ward to join us in our lessons. We reached out to Sister Lim and she was so happy to help out! Afterwards we did the Methuen Progress report for Coordination tomorrow morning. After dinner we continued to reach out to people but sadly not a lot of responses. To end the night we had a great lesson with Sister Lim and Betty, sadly Sister Stapleton couldn't make it. It was pretty cool that we were prompted to ask Sister Stapleton what we can do to help, because we were able to have a member present in the lesson! It went really well, and we talked about the Restoration and receiving personal Revelation! Sister Lim had some amazing insights that helped Betty out!
Sunday went pretty well. Right after we got ready we had coordination with Methuen. We then had some time to do personal studies before we had our mission wide Sunday service. We had three great talks, one about following the Prophet, another on "Christ can heal all wounds", and the final talk was on the importance of Acting on Spiritual Experiences! After our Mission wide Sunday Service, we had another one with Angel, the Chipman’s, and the Aldrich's, it went really well! We had a short little break then we had a message with the Swanson family on reading the scriptures to find answers to our prayers. It was cool to hear Zarah and her experiences with praying and asking questions then opening up the Bible to read and finding the answers.  We then finally had lunch and did companion studies. We then called a few members to check in on them and made a post for the FB page. Sadly we had a lesson planned and the lady never picked up so we will try again in a couple days. After dinner we were able to be apart of a Stake Youth fireside, along with 4 returned missionaries in the stake. It was all about finding purpose and gratitude! We both had a really fun time with it and afterwards we had some members that were present thanking us for the words we shared! All in all it was a good day.

                     Alma 5:19

"19 I say unto you, can ye look up to God at that day with a pure heart and clean hands? I say unto you, can you look up, having the image of God engraven upon your countenances?"

Times are getting harder to live in for sure! As we continue to push through these challenging times are we still keeping our hearts pure and our hands clean? I know I am, it is so important to follow this advice, because we will all be judged, and I know I want to be worthy to enter into Gods Kingdom. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
